Gastrointestinal surgery is the largest portion of our practice, thus we have extensive experience in this area. We have performed hundreds of operations on the stomach, small intestine, gallbladder and colon for both infectious and malignant disease.

As active members of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, we stay on the cutting edge of new techniques. We have been pioneers in advanced laparoscopic surgery at Highland Park Hospital, which is the state of the art in gastrointestinal surgery. We performed the first totally laparoscopic colectomy, common bile duct exploration, and gastric bypass at that institution.
